Red Light
Evening had already arrived. Sometimes your mind wonders if you should stay waiting for the animals a bit longer or not. Waiting is an option as 400mm 2.8 lense gives that extra light and time to try to capture the “shot of the day”.
After a long evening with no luck, I suddenly noticed a fox. I immediately hit the ground and started to approach the sitting fox. It's a gamble – I know.
Usually my tactic is to wait for the animal to approach me. But in this case, the sun was already down and I didn't have any seconds to waste. I got really lucky as this curious fox was co-operative, it just sat there and let me approach in the distance. However, I needed to be super fast yet delicate in my movements.
Adjusting the tripod – check.
Adjusting the camera settings – check.

The backlight of a distant car formed a red light, appearing as a red moon.
It was obvious that this picture would be called “Red Light”.
